We feel that a thorough survey is of upmost importance for several reasons.

Our aim is to ensure your move runs smoothly. In order to accomplish this, we need to have as much information as possible from you about the property you are moving from, and the property you are moving to. A thorough survey makes it possible for us to provide you with an accurate quotation and information.

Our survey gives you an opportunity to meet in person and be on-hand to answer your questions.

We put people first, which is why we take into account your individual situation. Special consideration needs to be given to all those involved in your move.

Perhaps you have an elderly person or persons living with you. We do understand conditions such as; frailty, limited ability, disability, Dementia, Alzheimer’s and various mental health conditions. We respectfully tailor our services around your individual circumstances. We will make sure our team is fully aware of any special requirements.

Children babies! We again afford special consideration. We understand children may have many emotions about the move and always take these into account.

We need to know of any parking restrictions/permits required, and access information to your property including any stairs and/or lifts and any obstacles we may encounter.  It is a good idea to inform your neighbours of the removal date.

Please do advise us if you have any pets, they need special consideration too!

We next move onto the survey of your property. In order to assess all items, we need to gain access to all rooms, cupboards, wardrobes, every nook and cranny, including on top of, behind, underneath and by the side of!  The same detailed attention of course applies to; offices, lofts, cellars, garages, sheds and any other out-buildings.

We understand and are experienced with handling items such as; antiques, fine arts, (including ornamental features), time-pieces of distinction, wine collections, pianos and other musical instruments, flammable items and documentation all require specialised attention.
